Default Leather Problem Solved

Just wanted to post the final solution to my leather problem, which began with the black dye rubbing off my leather jacket and embedding into the sand leather.

After trying just about everything, I called list sponsor IRA Porsche to get a price quote for a new leather skin for the seatback.

They instead referred me to a company called Becker Interiors in Danvers. Arthur at this company agreed to drive an hour+ to my home in Shrewsbury to take care of the problem. He sanded down the seat and redyed it with what I can only describe as an airbrush. It was absolutely UNBELIEVABLE.

While he was here, I asked him to look at my Ferrari 348 that had really badly worn seats which I was about to pay $3000+ to replace. He sanded them down, filled the cracked leather, redyed them in the original jet black, and I swear they look brand new!!

****...as long as he's here anyway....My wifes BMW convertible had tears in the side bolster of the drivers seat. That now looks better than when it rolled out of the showroom.

Total cost $350 for all three cars!!
Add to that the fact that this guy was so nice we implored him to stay for dinner with our family, and you've got a wonderful experience all around, that saved me thousands of dollars.

Kudo's to IRA Porsche for the referral.
