Hey Guys,
My Cayenne S was in for service, and while in for service they dented the panel and have stated they will fix the panel. The only problem I see, is when I trade my Cayenne in....dealers give less money if a car has had bodywork.
Anyone else been in this situation? And ideas on what to do?
Thanks,
Parag

You should be ok, it's only a dent i traded my V6 after a front end work didnt affect it, or I didnt mentioned it
I dont think they put that on the service records.

Parag,
I have been in the auto biz for the last 16 years. Dents such as you described never effect the value if they are repaired correctly. I just had my from bumper cover replaced. I took it to a very high end shop. My CS was the cheapest car there. You simply cannot tell it was ever touched. the paint match and fit and finish was exact. My recommendation. Without being to agressive, make sure they know that it will need to look as if it is factory. No overspray, not tape marks under the hood or around the wheel wheels, etc. That's typically were you can tell. And as a precaution, make sure you keep the repair order with the car. If someone does notice that it was repainted, you can show them that it was just a dent fix and not a collision. you should be fine.
