25,000 mile update...
After posting this on the wrong forum, this is an "anti knock" staement to counter the knocks......
My Pepper S is a 7/03 build.
I just thought I would post an update since last service at 12,500mi. At that service - oil & tires (alignment) with some minor TSBs were done. The service (at that mileage) was done because the car indicated a service stop.
The service indicator has not triggered. My guess is the oil is running cleaner after breakin. I just called P Cus. Commit. for required TSB's. None were listed for my VIN. I just changed the tires to Yoko Geolanders G52 (H rated), from the Bridestone turanzas (which were terrible in lite snow).
The Turanzas wore evenly (the alignment held up) & had about 1-2000 more miles left (w 3 flats).
My mileage in city driving is about 11.5 mpg; freeway 15.5mpg (80-90mph). I just broke $60 for my last fillup (CA gas prices 2.90/gal - ugh).
I love the truck, it has served me well and that's the best I can say about it
