My dealer told me that my car will have the panoramic roof. It is a March build car. He claimed that Porsche has not gotten any complaints about leaking panoroofs. Who knows??

Default Panorama Roof Issues

Spoke with two different dealers this week and neither one of them said that there was any problem with the Panoramic roof. According to both dealers it is something that can still be ordered and there are no reported problems. Just curious if anyone else has any hard info on this. I was going to order a CS, but am now waiting a bit to be sure I wont be buying into any problems.

I just saw this posted ...... edited by mudman2

Already in a previous message in this thread.

By the way... I was told by my dealer on 3/1/5 that the Panarama Roof option was pulled and my only choice was the standard sunroof.

Default cayenne delayed

My dealer (London,UK) has informed me today that the production of my cayenne would be delayed by one month.I have ordered Panorama roof, and sportdesign kit,but surprisingly the dealer 'claimed' the delay had nothing to do with the Panorama roof (an issue i had been pressing them on ever since I read this thread),but was related to the sportdesign kit??When I asked for more detail, they just said that porsche had underestimated demand for the kit and were having production problems(same excuse I have heard about the panorama roof).Needless to say I was extremely disappointed,...I just hope it doesnt go back even further.

Ps I ordered my car in October last year, and at the time porsche said I had made the allocated quota for panorama roof/sportdesign kit/powerkit, all of which are options with limited availability....

I just got off the phone to my dealer stateside and he told me that while the option had been available for a march build, it would not be available for an april build. Is anyone able to shed further light on what exactly is going on?

FYI, the pano roof is available (and I've just played with it at a dealer on an '06) ... very fun. Maybe not so really useful, especially for back-seat passengers, but an impressive design.
