Default 2005 Cayenne S Climate Control

We have the 2 zone system vs the 4 zone one. Obviously in MONO mode, the temp on both sides is the same and the fan speed is the same. When mono mode is off we can independently control the temp on the driver's and passenger's side however the fan speed is not independently controllable. IE if I increase fan speed on my side, it increases on her's as well. Is this normal? Would like to have the temp and the fan speed independently controlable if possible. Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure only the temperature is controllable not the fan speed.

Thats my understanding also. The vents open and close to satisfy the temp. wettings at a constant fan speed.

Seems to work well for me.

Perfectly normal. Only the temp is independent as there is only one fan in there to supply both zones.

Yep, that's the normal behavior. It's a little misleading because there are two fan switches but they are just there so you don't have to reach across the console. They both affect the one and only fan.
