Default Lateral G and the new alignment spec

Some early Cayenne owners have many tire wear problems. PCNA corrected this with a new alignment spec.

Does anyone have the actual specs? I personally think the handling was better with the old spec (tracked my CayS before and after the new alignment). Perhaps there were too much negative camber in the original spec that caused excessive tire wear on straights.

Also I believe the new spec is also more prone to wheel vibration problem. I had mine fixed with road-force & two plane balancing (road force measurement alone didn't fix it).

Data printout from the Beissbarth ML4000 wheel alignment, done on my Cayenne S at the dealer, 10/18/2004 (2nd and latest alignment):

(note: these are all targets)

Rear Camber: -1.33deg +/- 0.33deg max diff left/right
Rear Toe: 0.16deg +/- 0.08deg max diff left/right

Front Caster: 8.58deg +/- 0.5deg max diff left/right
Kingpin inclination: +10.75deg +/-0deg max diff left/right
Camber: -0.25deg +/-0.33deg max diff left/right
Toe: 0.08deg +0.08deg/-0.05deg max diff left/right

(Note: mine was out for right toe, 0.37deg vs 0.08deg)

That's pretty small front negative camber angle... I wonder if the original spec was larger than the updated one. The new spec may make Cayennes more prone to understeer if that's the case.
