Yesterday we took delivery of my wife's Cayenne S. I must say I was excited myself when after we got home she tossed me the keys and asked me if I wanted to take it for a spin.

Our is metallic black (basalt black ?) with black interior. I love the way the std alluminium looks vs the whole black interior.
The car looks really nice and solid... just a couple of switches left me a little unimpressed (reading lights centra toggle switch nearly fell in my hand as I was playing with it, the air con optional controls cover is very filmsy) but overall it feels good.

And then the drive... this thing has torque... I am used to my 911 and the need to rev it past 4k to get it going... Here the sweet spot is at 2,800k... really cool.

We bought the Cay as a family car... but I won't be too disappointed to leave the 911 at home anymore when we go to the beach.

The torque is killing me... I now have to have a 3.6 varioram installed in the 911 to make up for it

Having a Cayenne sure makes it easy to leave the other P-car at home
