The listed pressures are cold and yes, they will rise when the vehicle is operated.

I will re read my manual but I thought the pressure was 38/43. As far as the 4-5psi heat up, not a problem as the pressure given are cold pressures and take in to consideration heat/cold etc. Of course your tires are wider than mine as mine are 275.

38/43 is correct for partially loaded CS/CT and 38/50 fully loaded. The tires you listed are not in my manual or depicted on the front door. Mine is an '03 and I have no data on that type of tire.

Blade-MD, you are correct the tire pressures I gave is for a partially loaded Cayenne. So far I've never had the car loaded to the max (5 people plus full luggage). In fact I've never had 5 people in it at once I don't know the sizes for 03 but for 04/05 you can find the Porsche recommended sizes in Christophorus or in the pamphlet from Porsche "Tires Porsche Approved Original Equipment" Fall/Winter 200-2005. For the Cayenne models the sizes are 235/65/17, 235/60/18, 255/55/18, 255/50/19 (winter only) 275/45/19 and 275/40/20.
