Happy Cayenne Owner
It seems like every time I log on the Cayenne forum someone else is having a problem with their Cayenne. I just wanted to start a more positive thread for people who like or love their Cayenne. Mine had the usual issues: hesitation, poor range from the remote keys but after the recalls were completed the car works as it should and I still smile every time I drive it. I actually feel bad for the people I see everyday driving Range Rovers, Lexus or the worst - H2. I could not be happier with my CTT. Anyone else feel the same?

Yeah I would be happier with a CTT compared to my Cayenne S as a replacement. My wife says who needs all that power-I DO : ). Congrats. The handling is what sold me on. Regards. Mike.

The more I drive mine the more I like it as well. Only one problem so far, with airbag faults, fixed with one visit. It's not a 911, but for what it is, it is a great vehicle...

The Cayenne rocks, even if it does have minor problems. I don't plan on ever letting it go, unless for a Turbo. My car is going in for the airbag fix Monday and they expect it to be done Tuesday. Nowhere near as bad as my dad's 745i that has been at the dealer for 2.5 weeks now, of JUST recalls.

The Cayenne is simply awesome. Solid handling and excellent steering feel are what got to me. The dash is nice looking as well. The minor problems are expected when I buy non-Japanese so it doesn't bother me. I still prefer to drive my 996 or S2000, but when I need a car for a family of four (includes a German Shephard), nothing beats the Cayenne!
When I bought the car, I never thought I would use the steering wheel tiptronic controls. I use them all the time now and love it!

Here is another happy owner. The only issue I´ve had is water condensation in the right headlamp. Doesn´t really bother me and I i´ll wait until first service to get it fixed.
I think the Cayenne is an awesome vehicle, especially considering its weight. Outperforms any other SUV by far IMO.

My CT is great too, and the truth of the matter is that I do need all that power. I learned all about power, and its importance, from my favorite show -- Home Improvement starring Tim Allen. You can never have too much power; there is no such thing. I plan on keeping mine a real long time.

Pick up mine tommorrow!!
My son and I fly from Chicago to Atlanta tomorrow, pickup rental car, drive to Alabama, to pick up our (new to us) TT!! Expect to have a blast driving the 780 miles back.
It's platinum in color, not a ton of options, but low miles, 11K. $70k, not a bad price, eh? (been shopping a long time, even dealer auctions) It's Porsche certified car, and dealer Jack Ingram Motors promises ALL campaigns, updates, etc. are installed. (Says they can't certify it if they're not.)
I'm going to need to get hitch installed, have read the threads about the brake light electronics. Do you think a good hitch place can do this, or better go to the stealer?
Hope this is as much fun as my 97 993 tt!!

I bitched a bit but knew about the issues before buing the car. I love the car PERIOD. Personally to me CTT is too much. S has enough power and unless you live in an area where you can really push the car to the limit then it is a waste of a car. Cayenne is the most versative car and best looking SUV out there. I love the looks the verhicle gets from the eveyone out there. It is also cool to have us on this forum exchanging ideas and tips. This helps quite a bit. This truck has a character and attitide and that is why I love driving it or looking at it.
Hope you all feel the same.

Love mine too. Although it has been a little lonely in the garage the last couple of weeks since I have acquired my Targa! Back in the Cayenne tomorrow for soccer, etc.
Truble10, I also love Scottsdale! You are probably a neighbor. See you around.

I love my car - yes it has problems (many reccuring due to the lousy service-department here in Israel - they have NO idea about the car), but nobody's perfect; not even my pepper!
By the way - how come your car only says 'turbo' on the bootlid? Mine has 'cayenne turbo' back there....

Urban,
I removed the badges - it was easier to clean and wax. Then I was looking at the back of my 996 TT and I liked how it just had "turbo" so I replaced just the "turbo" emblem.
I've had many compliments and it stands out a little.
