Do you have PCM? I thought you could not hardwire in to that.

I thought PCM support either XM or Sirius? Dont you just need the sat unit? Is this because of Howard Stern

I have an 04 with PCM, the hard wiring is to the antenna connection in back of it. Its still FM but injected directly into the artery.

Abso freakin lutely, could not start my 6am commute any other way.

This is what I decided on today and ordered.

Sirius

The antenna will go with the rest in the rear spoiler.

I ordered a Terk antenna because it has 20ft of cable.

I am going to do it myself, I enjoy that sort of thing. I will take pix and post the project when done, but it depends on the weather when I do it

Footprint. The Blaupunkt unit base is 4 inches by 4 inches and I could not see anywhere to put it that made sense. The Kenwood places the tuner out of site and leaves a small dash mount to find a space for. I remember a lot of XM guys did the same last year.

Thats the unit I have and I really like it. I went with it strictly for size, all the other units were odd sizes and too large for my tastes. I also put the antenna in the spoiler, it makes for a nice clean install, and I put the tuner under the back seat on the passenger side.
