I just bought a 2005 Cayenne, is it supposed to have a first aid kit and warning triangle? It doesn't.

My 04 came with them, my 05 did not, so it sounds like it was dropped as a standard accessory. We just grabbed ours out of the 04 before we traded it.

Did you buy it in Europe? It used to be required equipment there (same as left & right parking light).

No, both 04 and 05 bought in L.A., U.S. model. (Someday I'd like to do a European delivery - 997 GT3 maybe?!

My 03 came with it and my 05 did not. I transferred the items.

My dealer told me the 05's are not being delivered with First Aid Kits because of some legal action against PCNA, and the warning triangle is a european standard.

I Just ordered a genuine Porsche First Aid Kit from Sunset Porsche in Oregon for $28.00. I know, it's a lot of money for a few band-aids but what the hell....

My 2012 didn't come with a warning triangle. But I found one on eBay last week. Just came today. It's OEM and fits perfectly in the holder.
