Default Got my Cayenne, 400 miles, ac bursts hot air... HELP PLEASE

Got my Cayenne, 400 miles, ac bursts hot air for some period of time. Then all of a sudden The ac works fine.

I brought it to the dealership and they just evacuated and recharged the freon. they could not find leaks.

I get air conditioning for some hours and then I get hot air for some hours. Unfortunately I drove back home and the closest dealer is 250 miles away.. HELP PLEASE if anyone knowsa solution please advise.

Thanks in advance

Default You sold your SLK?

Periokid,

You sold your AMG SLK??? Your website was the best resource for SLK's in the world!

On the hot air thing... Do you have a Cayenne S or Turbo with auto climate control or a V6 with manual?

I may have related problem. Time to time (infrequent), I feel warm and notice air is hotter than it should be. Dropping temperature control seems to stop the hot air.

Yes, I traded the SLK in on my Cayenne. SLK32.com is still up and running.

Default Nope... not on econ,

it happens in auto, automatic circulation, circulation or normal even at the lowest temperature setting... Do i have a lemon? It's quite disapointing. Thanks

I think more than a faulty A\C would constitute a lemon; and if they already checked for leaks and pumped the freon; it's probably a faulty thermometer or something else malfunctining in the climate control circuitry. I would call the person who you dealt with for your initial repairs, and try to get them to order the parts head of time, or give you a loaner when you take it in again. Good luck

Freeppv,

Just keep bringing it back, there's a limit on how may times you can bring it back for the same problem then it would be considered a lemon. Have to research that though, i think it depends what state you live in, i'll let you know what i find out...good luck
