Noticed on the 2004 Cayenne Parts list there are 4 different part numbers for the front springs. Each has a different dot color combination:
955 343 533 03 - marked yellow
955 343 533 04 - marked yellow, yellow
955 343 533 05 - marked gold-colored
955 343 533 06 - marked gold-colored, gold colored
I looked at the order guide and didn't see any different versions of the steel spring suspension. Anyone aware of what the differences are?
The Cayenne S springs I have are marked with 3 dots gold-colored, gold-colored, light blue.
Thanks!

The yellow dot marked springs would be for a V6 front, the gold markings are for a V8 front. There are 2 different sets per engine size, so 4 total spring sets for the front axle.
The rear axle there are 3 different sets per engine for a total of 6 sets available. the V6 has a grey dot or dots and the V8 has a white dot or dots.
And, as we all know, the TT is not available in steel spring suspension.
