I've not noticed my heated steering wheel isn't coming on with the heated seats. I suspected this maybe a miss order by the OPC but they have assured me it's installed in the car and should be working.
They are saying the heated steering wheel operation is dependant on the outside temparataure and that once the climate drops a bit here in the UK I should notice it come one with the seat - what do you think fact or fob off ??

The heated seats and heated steering wheel are completely independant of each other.
The heated seats must be "switched on" at your discretion to be activated at ANY cabin or outside temperature. They will not come on automatically, though the temp you select will be maintained thermostatically.
The heated steering wheel activates at around 45F (not sure of this exact temp) automatically and shuts off at some temp when the wheel feels "Cozy." You have no control over this process whatsoever.

So, the wheel will only start heating when the cabin is below 53.6 °F, not below 71.6 °F.
