Buzzing noise when heater is on
I have a new 2004 Cayenne S and noticed annoying buzzing/humming noise when the heater is on. Is there a fix for this? I took it to the dealer and they said this was normal, but I can't believe this noise can be normal in a $70K car, its really annoying.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Central Oregon...mornings are already in the low 30's, but the afternoons are in the 70s. I already have my 18" turbo wheels (my winter wheels) mounted with Nokian stud tires...I'm ready for winter...except for the annoying buzzing noise with the heater

How does one turn on the 'heater"? Do you not just adjust the digital temp? I haven't noticed a separate noise when the temp is adjustded up to 75 or 80 degrees. This includes, last winter in the snow.

You're lucky you don't have the noise. The noise happens when the temperature setting is 75 or higher to have the heater kick in. It kind of sounds like a cheap stereo with distortion humm/buzz coming through the speakers (reminds me of my high school years in my BMW 2002).
