Lightbulb 2005 Cayenne S Order - Update

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions, I would never had thought about air suspension until I read posts from "renn 951" & "Periokid" I test drove one today at Paul Miller in NJ. The ride is incredible !! I was blown away.
Also the posts regarding the smooth leather option makes such a difference. I saw it today and it makes the dashboard look so much nicer especially with the Havanna/Sand Beige interior, so I added it to the list....kinda pricey though at $2,990. The dealer talked me into the olive wood shifter..he was right though it does look really cool

The MSRP total was $75,595 (Mid-December delivery)
The dealer quoted me $5,000 off which is good, but I think I can do better. Going to look around to see if I can get more off. I read that Porsche has about a 13% markup which would put the invoice price at $65,768.
I think an awesome price to pay for this (before tax) would be about $68,000...any thoughts on this???

Here is my updated list of Goodies...cant wait

Why start a new post instead of providing the update in the original post?

Not that I have bad things to say about Paul Miller Porsche, but I definately have issues with Paul Miller's organization in general. I would try Jack Daniels or Pepe Porsche before signing with Paul Miller. Your call, but I think you will get a better deal and would be better off in the end. I would go see Jason at Jack Daniels and pass your numbers by him, if that doesn't work there are many in the area. Not to create any confusion but you are close to the price of a Turbo did you give one a spin?

Good Luck

Thanks for the name at Jack Daniels! I will fax him my options tomorrow and see what he comes back with. Ultimately I would like to go with Ray Catena since I deal with them now with the boxster. I am hoping that Gino will be able to come in under the price from Paul Miller.

As far as the Turbo goes...I am with you on that one and I HAVE NOT test driven one for the simple reason that I probably wont be able to sleep and then this one will always too slow....If you can imagine what I am getting at here.
How far away do you think I am in price from the turbo? My budget going into this adventure was around 70k including tax. I will most likely wind up writing the check for 72k out the door when everything is said and done.

I opted for XM over Sirius (having had neither in the past) and am quite happy with XM. If the stock price means anything regarding longevity, XM is about $30.00 and Sirius is $2.86 a share.
