Default how to "soften" the ride on the S

is there any way to "soften" the ride on my stock Cayenne S without the adjustable suspension? Any aftermarket modifications available?
thanks to all

You have either techart or H&R lowering suspension. The car looks great lowered and the ride is much smoother

agree with Jamy. Though it sounds abit weird but yes it is smoother with the aftermarket springs. usually the lower the stiffer but not on this case.

I ordered a set of H&R's just under $300. Will have to find somebody I trust to install. I will report after installation

The OEM springs are probably made to tow the capacity load (hence the harsh springing for passenger cars).

Softer springs might reduce tongue weight limits.

Thats what I have always wondered. Are the lower springs designed with towing in mind?

it will take a long time to install the springs and pretty expensive labor fee, maybe more than what you pay for the springs

Does handling remain the same? Any degradation with the softer ride? Thanks.

If not better. I say go for it the h&r springs are only 300 and its worth every cent. The car looks soooo much better and the ride is definatly better

where can I get the springs and is it a good idea to ask the dealer to install them or find someone else?

what about the shocks, can you leave the stock shocks on the car even if you are installing the lowering springs?
