Does anyone know how to keep the radio off when using the PCM? Everytime I turn on the PCM for map, the radio or CD automatic turns on and I have to mute it.

I think it automatically turns on. So mutting or turn down the volume is ur only solution

not sure, as i don't have PCM (yet) - my turbo S is coming with it, and if its good, i will surely add it to my boxster S as well

however,

as someone will surely chime in: RTFM, im sure its addressed somewhere in there

porsche wouldnt likely make the PCM THAT annoying (but you never know)

This is how I do it:
While on FM mode, lower the volume and hit SET for the navi. sound controls and rise the boost up, you might hear the radio very, very little while the navi. voice is high.

Mute the radio. The Nav will still speak.

I did RTFM and didn't find any way to do it other than using the mute. My kids named the female voice Stacy (don't ask me why) and she still pipes in when appropriate with the mute on...
