Default Is Porsche plant closed?

I have read several conflicting reports that the plant where Cayennes are produced is closed either from July 15 - August 15, or from August 1 - August 31st. Does anyone know the scoop on this?

It must be July 15 - August 15. I found out yesterday my build date is week 39. Which means they must be back to work if they are making build schedules. Normally August is a European vacation month, but I am pretty sure the plant is back open.

The factory isn't closed, but it is vacation season. We were just there 2 weeks ago and the Cayenne line was stopped, but the GT was not. So I probably walked right by your Cayenne that was just sitting there collecting dust. Anyway, I don't know how long their employees will be on vacation, but I can't imagine that it is still down or too far from being back up.
