I am using IE 6 and cannot get it to work. I also have problems with Java script on other web pages. I have been trying to use Porsche Configurator for a while. Is it me?

 

If it's any help, the Configurator doesn't work with a Mac.

 

Disable Pop-Up Blockers, or hold Shift key down as you click thru the Configurator.

 

I think the porsche car configuraor is about the worst buid and price setup of any manafacturers website. Getting it to work for me is a total crap shoot.

 

I'm using a Mac (osX) with Firefox as my browser...
works fine for me.

 

It won't work with Safari but it will with IE5 and obviously, for you, Firefox.

 

You must download the latest version of MACROMEDIA SHOCKWAVE, turn off pop-up blockers and then it should work fine (actually fun to try the different interiors and options that change when you make the selections).
The only drawback (actually very sad) is the EXCLUSIVE options are not loadable on the Porsche USA site. Go to the German site, click on EXCLUSIVE and have fun. This is why we all are looking at the Porsche - fantastic !
