Hi Kevin - the painted grill and the valance both look really sharp
How much would it set you back ..if I may ask?

Well my good friend owns a body shop so he wouldn't take my money.. I left him a few hundred bucks just for materials.. I would guess the whole job would be about $1200..

Very sharp. I was thinking about doing the same on mine, but didn't know how to remove the grills. Do you have to remove the bumper? Or is there an easier way?

Thanks.

Sublte but great looking changes. Now the second car I have seen with the lower valences sanded smooth and painted body color. I think it looks great.

Thanks guys! Yes the bumper has to be removed to change the grills. Actually its vey easy to remove the bumper, just remove a few screws along the wheel well where the side markers off, and there are two plastic lathes on both sides under the hood that release it.. As seen in this pic..

Wow Kevin-you've been busy haven't you. Looks very nice. Was it hard to install skidplate? I posted about that but wanted your feedback. thanks. Mike

very impressed, have been watching your pepper progress over the last few months and look forward to each addition. Must be the best I have seen.
Must ask, what do you polish/wax her with. The finish is so cool.
I hope it is something you can pick up in the UK.

Cheers

Thanks Mike, the skidplate is fairly simple once the bumper is removed, its just a matter of driling several holes under the bumper. They are already marked where your supposed to drill, so after that just attach the fasteners and put it all back together. It helps to have a extra set of hands to remove and install the bumper.

Thank you Steed... Actually the Cayenne gets very little attention when it comes to waxing, I do use a California Car Duster almost every time I take it out, unless its to dirty to wipe down. I also use Meguires Mist wax, and a microfiber towel to wipe of water spots and fingerprints. Thats about it

Kevin, I am thinking about doing the same change to my Cayenne. What is the color code for your front grill? BTW, dose your CS's steering wheel vibrate on 22" wheels?
