Default My new 2004 Cayenne S - squeaking noise

I just picked up my new S and I like it alot. I noticed a little vibration around 70mph which I've read many threads about. I also hear some annoying squeaking coming from the cargo cover (the part that covers the cargo area behind the seats). Anybody experienced this same noise? I want to see if I can remedy this without taking it back to the dealer.

Any help is appreciated.

try using felt tape where the cargo cover meets the sides of the cargo area

I have the same problem, and I recall it started after I removed the cargo cover when I lowered the rear seats to transport a couple of toilets. After I put everything back in its place, I got the intermitent squeak. BTW, it is pain in the shorts to lower the seats with the head rests and all; X5 was real easy, but then again my X5 had plenty of problems. So, I believe the suggestion is to put some felt tape where the cover unit clicks in the sides of the cargo area -- will do.

I think its the cargo net (dead weight) not rammed home enough. Take it out and leave it at home. The cargo cover is OK.
