Mine is so so
I notice that mine will "click" when closed softly, but not fully engage. To get it fully locked, it needs to be pressed firmly. Then you get the little motor that pulls it down snugly. The amount of force is very similar to the rear trunk on my Boxster.
Do others see this motor engaging when closed lightly?

I agree with Itzkurb, I have a manual closing liftgate (no motor).
I have had the tailgate latch and switch replaced, and adjusted. My problem remains, I must slam the liftgate (usually more than once) in order to have the dash indicator lamp stop. The liftgate does latch, but not fully under light closure, causing the dash door adjar warning lamp to illuminate.
Frustrating, the dealership says there is nothing further for them to do.

Same here, got to slam it pretty good to close completely, in my brothers touareg (not fully loaded) all you got to do is click it lightly and it will close by itself unlike in my fully loaded cayenne.
Maybe the motorized lock from the touareg would fit in our pepers ?
John Gazivoda.

TT Has it
You don't need the Toureg part. There is a closing motor installed on my 04 Turbo. I would assume it would be easier to install the Porsche part than the VW part.

My S closes easy also, just a push and it catches. Looking at the T Reg it exactly the same mechanism.
My guess is that the Cayenne seals are stiffer and therefore some adjustment is needed to correct.
