Power loss on 4.8Turbo (max 0.3Bar)
Hello everyone, I hope you guys can help me.
I bought a 2nd Hand 957 Turbo, which runs so far okay but the boost is not going higher than 0.3Bar under load, but when going off the acc pedal it shortly goes up to 0.4Bar.
Following faulty codes are stored in the DME:
P0175 and P0172 (System too rich Bank 1 & 2)
P1080 and P1094 (Air Mass Ahead of Throttle Valve)
The MAFs are showing 12kg/h and 18-20kg/h, I already ordered spares, but honestly I dont think that they are responsible for this loss in boost pressure.
I heared about the vacuum hoses, but there are so many hoses inside the car, has somebody a picture which identifies these hoses and can explain how to check them for leaks?
Beside this, if anyone has some ideas, I would be glad to hear them.
[EDIT] actually it seems that one MAF causes the problem, with engine off ignition on it says already 1.2V (the one which with engine idle is at 20kg/h). When I unplug it, the boost reaches over 0.8Bar at 4k rpm. And the mentioned fault codes are gone, too.
But boost is only raising on revs above 2500rpm, is this normal? I thought there should be already some boost under 2k.
