Default Any low dust brake pad options for the Cayenne

I can't keep up with the brake dust formation on my Cayenne.

I have run aftermarket brake pads on my Mercedes cars. I was happiest with Porterfields.

I don't think they make them yet. Any other options?

The squeeky pads have less dust(less wear). I'll bet the difference is slight.

You have a lot of pads in the caliper, maybe more than your MBZ.

The pads in my previous SLK32 were quite large and the dust difference was huge with Porterfields.

My current Cayenne pads are squeeky anyway.

I've used Mintex Red Box and EBC greenstuff pads on Audi's and VW's and have been happy with them. Hope they make a size for the pepper...

EBCs ruined two set of rotors on two different cars for me. Both sets warped within a few thousand miles. I'll check for availability, however.

I'd recommend EBC Green's. Low dust, I've been very happy with them.

I have not been pleased with EBC in the past as I noted in my previous post. But I'll consider it if they are available.

Why not just wash the wheels with the rest of the car? On mine, all the dust comes right off.

The factory brakes work very well for stopping the vehicle. That should also be a consideration.

My wheels are filthy in 2 days. I wash the Cayenne every week. I am used to having German cars and I usually switch to Porterfields as the performance is the same and the dust reduction is amazing. The problem is, Porterfield does not have a Cayenne pad....yet.

Periokid: Are you using them on your 996? What is your rec for a 993?

My 996 has ceramic composite brakes which are dustless. Oh I wish I could have then on my Cayenne.
