Default Clock

In my CS with Nav I notice something a little annoying about the clock--the AM/PM display does not switch to PM until 1 in the afternoon rather than at noon. In other words at 12:30 in the afternoon the display says 12:30 AM. At 1:00 in the afternoon it goes to PM.

I haven't been there to check it between midnight and 1:00 in the morning.

Anyone else note this. Is there a fix?

The easy solution is to use the 24 hour clock.

Default Changing the time....

How do you change the time in the Air temperature window above the ashtray. It seems to be stuck in 24 hour time and the one in the dash and PCm are in 12 hour?

There should be a solution here beside going to 24 hr time clock, which I don't like. Any more thoughts?

Software update, most likely. I don't know if its the kind of thing that can be petitioned. As well as changing am/pm thing how about volume indicator on PCM. Also, refueling button (choice) on Navi. Its quite irritating to have to turn it off just to get gas when you are travelling. Otherwise system keeps trying to redirect you.

If any of you have a Siemens phone system, you will find its the same.

I doubt we will get a software change when the Germans do not understand the reason for the change in the first place. Its correct to them.

? if it were your development money and 50 out of 30000 people asked for a minor change, would you spend the money or just ignore ?

I am not saying its right, but who am I to say that they are wrong just because we do things differently. They could be right and we could be wrong (oops sorry George W).

I thought the concept of time is a universial thing? I think it's a flaw.

Seems definitely to be a flaw. Luckily not serious, but certainly annoying in that you don't exepct something so simple to be wrong. I can buy a $10 clock that gets this correct, whereas my $2700 PCM can't do it.....

Let's hope they will have a software upgrade. Sounds simple, but what do I know?
