. I need to replace the front bumper lights as they have permanent water in them, I am wondering if there are any upgraded aftermarket versions available? I have looked around but I haven't found any that don't seem related to the Ali Baba/ eBay ones.

Should be some on eBay (dubious lineage) “upgrades” and they are certainly available via parts retailers.

you may want to try pulling yours and going bonkers with silicone to seal them. Nothing to lose?

personally I have in mind a few pod lights per side, maybe with a custom controller for DRL and blinkers, and some bright auxiliary lighting, but that is way down the list…
