Radio Volume Cut-Out
I've had 3-4 instances where my radio unit (non PCM) is on but will not give me any sound. Chaning source, cycling power or turning car off/on generaly did not fix it until next day. Had the amp replaced by dealer and it worked fine for 3 months. No it did it again but only once in 4 months.
ANY IDEAS?

Known S/W bug in the amplifier, related to MOST initialization.
The only workaround is to shut the car off, remove the key, turn the headunit off and wait for the MOST ring to shut off as well (this takes a few minutes...3 or so... and you will know when the volume control **** is no longer lit up orange around the outside)
Turning the headunit on/off or turning the car off and then back on will not work, as the ring does not go down in these circumstances; and remember that the amplifier is connected directly to the battery, not switched battery.
This will fix the problem 99.9% of the time.
