957 Cayenne V6 Oil Change
Time to get an oil change on my 2008 Cayenne Base. It has about 140k miles on it. I believe Mobil 1 0W40 is what the recommended oil under the hood is. Was thinking of getting X-MAX 0W40 Motul oil. I called some local mechanics and they recommend 5W40 Motul. I am also seeing 5W30 as a recommendation on the Mobil 1 website.
What do you use? And what would you recommend?

Anything that ends in -40. A 30wt oil is way too thin for a VR6. If it gets really hot in your area mix 1/2 -40 and 1/2 -50 to get a -45 oil.
