Dan,

I so know what you mean. I used to switch cars every 6 months or so, and usually kept 2 or 3 around (traded in an MB S Class and Jeep Wrangler for the Cayenne, while keeping the 993 - which has since been replaced with a BMW Z3). During the 14 months that I have owned the Cayenne, I have at times thought about replacing it. However, I have come to the conclusion that it can not be done with just 1 car. Because I already have the new Aston AMV8 on order, the best that I can come up with to replace the Cayenne was maybe an older MB G-Class Cab., LR Defender or new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited paired up with the new Maserati Quattroporte or MB S-Class. The other option was to wait for the new LR LR3 (Discovery) and pair that up with the new MB SLK 55. Or I could do a ...................

......the possibilities are endless, and manufacturers are cranking out new models at a blinding speed.

So many cars, so little time.

It's a great automotive time that we live in.

Good Luck.

Don't think replacement..think expansion. It's easier that way.

You have a point there, Colm.

EuroCarNut, pretty cool on the AMV8, wish I had the guts to get me one of those... or I wouldn't mind the Maserati either.

Suprised that the new Disco appeals to you though.

Yes, I'm a big fan of all LR products. We bought one of the first Discos back in 1994, and had a Range Rover before that. With a ranch in west Texas, we do quite a bit of driving off the beaten path, so I've always loved good true off-roaders, hence early MB G-Class as well.
