Default P1539 - Oil Pump Control code

Took my Cayenne on an extended trip yesterday, with codes cleared prior. Part of the trip was about an hour of low speed crawl up a mountain trail, and then back down the same trail. I kept getting "Oil pressure sensor" errors that would disappear after a couple seconds on the way up, and nothing on the way down, so I attributed it to gravity pulling the oil away from the sensor.

Today I pulled the codes and found "P1539 - Oil pump control". Anyone experienced this before? A cursory search of the net has yielded suggestions of the camshaft actuator/solenoid, but that doesn't seem right. Nothing about it here either, from what I could find. Would it be related to the Oil pressure sensor light I was getting?

It also had a P2181, but that's a thermostat problem and already on my list of things to fix.

I have the same two codes on my 08 957. Did you get this resolved?
