so I just bought a 08 cayenne which was a Japanese car.
(see new members)
the car came with an aftermarket Pioneer unit, but all in Japanese. Doing a search on it revealed it could not be changed to English, so I descided to remove it.

my car has the option “8RV Basic sound system with 10 loudspeakers” so no Bose I assume.
I have no clue what pcm version it was originally, as the stock head unit was already replaced.

I noticed a lot of you installed the Android systems which integrate very nice.

having looked at install vids and threads, It doesn’t look too hard to install. Basically plug and play thanks to the supplied aparter connectors and such.
so I just pulled out the pioneer to look if all would fit and behind it was a spaghetti of wires and connectors.

I have doubts that such a android kit would connect as my connectors look different to the ones in the tutorials.
so I wanted to share some pictures, hoping someone can confirm what I have and wether it will be possible to connect.
having sorted out the wires, there seems to be 2 major wire bundles coming out of the dash
one of them has a 20 pin blue connector to it, which I don’t see anywhere having.
