Front Suspension Rebuild - Subframe Rust Cleanup
Doing a full front suspension rebuild at 138k mi (struts, control arms, tie rods and sway links) plus cleaning up the rust damage after 10 years of Cleveland winters. I used por15 and covered that with Krylon spray paint.
I presoaked the bolts and ball joints with PB Rust Buster and surprisingly all the bolts came out using hand wrenches.

I can’t tell, are you on air? I’m curious if anyone has messed with the upgraded air struts from alpha works in Dubai?
I just did 95% of this, minus paint and only using one salvage strut and keeping the other. No paint either, but good idea!
good luck!

Mine is steel sprung. Finally got the struts apart. These spring compressors worked really well. The cheap impact from Harbor Freight got the strut nut off.
