Hi all,
I have 2007 v6 cayenne, 80K miles, that wont start on the key. AA came to look and Im now able to start the car via jumping a relay in the engine. The key works and it turns the car on, I can see all the light on the dash on but when I try to start it ... nothing. However when I jump the relay the start motor turns and the engine starts.

Ive tried both keys, but neither work.

Do these cars suffer from ignition barrel issues ? Some garage looked at it and told me there must be water ingress someone where, un der the floor ?

Any tips or tricks anyone can suggest ? Is this a common issue ?

Desperate for help.
