04 CTT occasionally throws P2135 & P0121 errors which are typically resolved by stopping car and restarting engine.

Typical symptoms are sluggish pedal response (which makes sense out of an abundance of caution if the DME is unclear what the throttle is doing) but is annoying and I’d like to fix it.

Any advice on parts or service to do? Simply buy a new throttle pedal assembly and install? Does it need to be VIN programmed?
