Default Item identification 2003 Turbo

I have been checking my car over, as it had a coolant leak, which I cannot find and appears to have stopped.
While I have the passenger side engine bay partially stripped, I noticed on top of the engine, a pipe running between the cam covers.
On the front of this pipe is what looks like a 'T' piece with a spring in it.
Looking at it's size and shape I wonder of there should be something else fitted (like another pipe).
Can anyone tell me what this part is?
Yellow arrow in photo points to it.

I think that is normal. I have a similar part on my CTTS. Part of the crankcase venting system. Probably a relief valve of some sort.

See #19 on the image at this link:

someone else can likely add more, but I do not think this should be a worry-causer.

cheers

Thank you.
I do see that from the parts list.
It was just the first time I noticed it, as it was under the "V8 Turbo" cover and that valve looked like it should have something connected as it has a barbed end. But I see it doesn't.
