Default Using the AUX input (2009 Cayenne S w/Bose)

Our CS has the AUX, USB, and iPod jacks in the center arm rest, but I don't see any option on PCM to select them as inputs, only AM/FM/Disc. I did a search here and tried the CD trick to open a "hidden" menu but never saw anything. I know Bluetooth audio streaming isn't available for the factory PCM unit, but we'd like to be able to plug in a phone with the 3.5mm port for music and podcasts. Is there a trick to this I've missed, or other solution short of replacing the head unit? Thanks!

I'd have to go fool around in the menus, or google it, but as I recall you have to go into settings and enable "aux" as an input option in the PCM unit.

hot tip: Tunai Firefly for $25 is a no-brainer bluetooth dongle streaming solution you just set and forget in the arm rest. Check amazon, and this forum for discussion and endorsements.

My Google-Fu is very rusty, but I did more searching and found a thread over on planet 9. While a disc is playing, press the disc and option buttons at the same time. This reveals the hidden menu and I now have activated ports in the center console. The trick doesn't appear to work unless a CD is playing. Kind of crappy interface design. Now that everything is working correctly, I'll check out the Firefly dongle.
