Size of 955 stereo bolts ??
I've lost my stupid bolts to hold my stereo in place.
I tried a 3mm and 4mm.. The 3mm is too small and 4mm is too big?
Anyone happen to know the correct size for these bolts?

I still have my trim piece off since my radio replacement. I could bring some calipers outside tomorrow.
I would call them torx screws though, but tomato tomato.
They're not machine screws though if memory serves. More of a pitched thread like a wood screw but obviously not a wood screw. A black screw like all the other ones holding the dash together.
A picture might be more helpful to match it up. I'll take one.

The batteries died in my calipers...
The radio screw is on the left (above). The screw on the right has similar threads and is for the dash.
In the picture below, the dash comparison screw is to the left of the seat heater control.
You can take out the dash screw and eye it up and compare threads side-by-side at a hardware store.

Stuff like this can be found easily - well, you have to dig and guess what words Porsche uses, but pretty easily - in the PET. It's an open download and it lists literally every part that goes into a Cayenne. You can download it here: https://www.porsche.com/all/media/pd...PA_KATALOG.pdf
Here's the page for the radio, and you can see that the radio is held in with part #3 which, as Libast mentioned, is a tapping screw.
