can someone identfi what number 21 and 22 are as i have air leaking from them

Those are variocam solenoids. I'm pretty sure replacing the seal there require removing the camshaft covers.

I agree with hopsis. These varicam solenoid seals should be changed along with the valve cover gaskets and spark plug tube gaskets at the same time.

oh thanks for that info i found the seals for them now i need to find the gaskets and spark tube gasket
had a bad misfire and found these to be bodged with silicon and leaking a lot of pressure would that be cause of the misfire
