Default Long wait finally over

Well, collected the TT from Germany last Friday and drove back to the UK over the weekend. Told to keep it under 5500 rpm for the first 1500 miles, but as 100mph equates to about 3000 rpm, no real problems there, espcially on the de-restricted sections of the Autobahn. Factory collection is an absolute must - it's a full day which just about induces sensory overload when you collect your new car. Will post a report soon. Otherwise, am just enjoying driving the most stunning car I have ever owned!

Congratulations!! I've got just under 11 weeks to go until we do our factory pick-up.

I took your advice and contacted the Porsche Travel Club -- they're working up a customized tour for us combining elements of the Alpine Pass tour and the Castle tour. This will be great!
