Default Any K40 owner in here?

How is it working so far? How did the instillation go, meaning did the technicians mess up the dashboard trying to install the little lights?

And how would you compare the K40 to the Valentine 1?

Any installation photos would be soooooo appreciated.

Thanks

My wife has a K-40 in her X-5 that the BMW dealer sold and installed. The installation is very slick. The price was very high. I have a Valentine 1 in my Cayenne. We have not done a lot of side-by-side comparisons but my subjective judgement is a few more false alarms with the K-40 and not as much range. The Valentine also has the direction indicators which I find very helpful. Here is a photo of the K-40 interior installation.

Not sure if you guys have heard but there is a company called Stealth One, they make an interface for the V1 directly on the dash panel. They only make systems for the BMW, but if we could generate enough interest I am sure we could get one done for our cayenne.

I emailed the guy and he said the next car they were doing was an audi. Check it out, its way slick.

Guys, thank you soooooooooo much.

GM Austin, tons of thanks for the pictures. I'm going to go to the dealer ASAP to see what can we do to install the K40. believe it or not, our Porsche dealer in boston is an authorized dealer for the K40.

flynhawaiian,

The web-site you gave me is amazing. And I wish if I could install such a system that integrate with the car perfectly. However, I emailed them, and they said they don't do Porsche at this time. maybe few years down the road!!
