We are a Cayenne family I own an S myself. But my older brother has the TT for over a year.

He never had any problems starting or shutting off the engine. Plus that I always drive his TT whenever I go down to Cali to get cigarettes from the convenience store, which is 3 minuets away from his house. ONLY 3 MINUTES DRIVE !!

10 minutes rule sounds ridicules!

I have been told there are lead free octane additives that can boost your tanks overall octane that are not too expensive. What with the price of gas now it might be just like adding an extra gallon or so. I have not yet searched for the product, but soon will. ANYONE TRIED THIS OR SOMETHING SIMILAR? Any advice as to what product to look for?
Even on my normally aspirated S I notice a distinct difference when I use Sunoco 94 vs the 93 of all the others. But Sunoco stations are few and far between in my area.

With all these high Gas prices, we should get 98 octane like in Europe.
Don't get too excited about those high European numbers. They use a different method to arrive at octane ratings so their 98 is roughly equivalent to our 93.
