Can anyone with running boards on their car comment on how they like the function of these?

Definitely the Off Road design package.

We had one of our demos set up with running boards. I hated them. Maybe short people might like them, but I'm a tall guy, and I don't need the running board to comfortably step into a Cayenne. I found that I kept hitting the running boards with my legs. Kept getting my pants dirty.

For running boards, they look good though. And I like that they extend underneathe the rockers and act as rocker guards. The boards themselves are pretty large units and are made of quite thick aluminum. Good for protection.
