Default "Wide of the mark"?

That's being kind. It's all rather ugly.

The black wheels, the fender arches, either color, the front-valance add-ons, the striped bottom-center panel...ALL UGLY. The only thing that not UGLY is the black rear panel; that's just homely and totally unnecessary. Maybe the guys who restyled the X5--you know...the one that looks as if it was the target of a pin-some-ugly-and-unnecessary-body-panel-on-the-atttractive-SUV contest--did this Cayenne?

Where do these designers get these ideas? And it'd cost probably $20K for that crap.

But ugly has been popular for decades, so probably it'll sell at least some, maybe to the dideethumpers who already are used to plenty-ugly stuff.

Kind of gives our "Maxi" a BMW "Mini" look.
Strange and funky.

Keep the OEM look. Change the wheels to 20" Porsche Design or 20" Sport techno's.

I like the black wheels - gives it a more performance oriented look.

In the very least, it drags the eye away from the lines of the car.
