What is the cost for the kit, is it broke down by components?

There is no price known for the retrofit.
All parts will be available seperately so you don't have to buy the whole deal.

Here's another one. What do you guys think of this kit?

It's from Sportec. They also offer a power kit, a lowering module and also exterior carbon stuff to replace the Alu trim. I saw in person at the AutoSalon in Geneva. The front spoiler is very nice however very expensive (about US$2700).

Gert, Thanks for posting all of the pics. It is nice to know what is in the piperline. That being said, I not sure if this aerokit improves the look of the car. Too much add-on stuff just make the car look too busy...

You have to thank Difference Engine for the pictures.

Personally, I don't like the look of these add-ons.

I look forward to the Porsche brake upgrade for the Cayenne that is soon to be released.

Most of these add ons.....Aerokits....seem like "gilding the lily". IMO, the Cayenne TT is stlyed differently enough to be very noticeable.....and sometimes these kits take on a cartoonish look. Different strokes for different folks.... LOL

OK, Gert...... no holding out on us with this kind of tease! What brake upgrade are you talking about? We already have 6-piston calipers. Surely, Porsche is not talking about a PCCB upgrade?

Can you offer some insight, kimo sabe?

I'm with you on this one. The Aerokit just doesn't look good to me. Maybe it'll look better in person. Brake/Exhaust/Engine upgrades though...that's where it's at.

I was just on phone with the Cayene products manager at Porsche France, she was completely surprised that we already know this aerokit will exist and really completely surprised that we already have those pics !!!!!!!! she just have some of them, not all, but with the same licence plate :-)

I like this, this info is supposed to be confidential actually !!!!!!!!

thanks Gert to make us quickest than the company ;-)

best regards all

I don't have more details on the brakes.

So far, all I know is that the aerokit should show up in May and that by that time, they will come up with a brake upgrade and a factory 500HP power kit for the Turbo.

Aerokit now officially factory option 2D1. If you have the Offroad Design pack, it's option 2D2. If you want just the rocker panel covers, it's option 2D3.

The prelim. 05 order guide has no mention of a power kit or brake upgrades, but who knows what Porsche has in store? A surprise announcement would not surprise me.

As a side note, Satellite radio (both XM & Sirius) and blacked out trim are now options.
