After getting a new CDC-4 Changer installed, it is a far less common that the changer does not recognize a CD - though it still happens occassionally. Also, every now and then, it won't recognize a particle tracks CD-TEXT. If I eject and reinsert the CD magazine, the CDC-4 generally will read all CDs and tracks.
Given the fact that other owners are reporting a flawless experience with their changers, I may go back to the dealer and request another new unit.
