im currently rescuing a 955 turbo thats been sat for 3 years.

it has the manual tailgate not powered.

the release button for the tailgate and the glass only work when they like, the button on thebdoor is the same. completely dead no noise just dead.

ive checked the fuses all ok not the odd bit.

i found a thread that said i can be linked to the fuse for the fuel filler door. so i checked that its fine.

but if i pull that fuse then put it back the boot will open for one operation then stops again?

also the lid is quite difficult to close should it be soft close? if so that's not working maybe the 2 things are related?

It has soft close. Maybe a bad microswitch in the lock. Do the interior lights turn on when You open the boot lid?

so iv got it all in bits and its now even odder.
everything appears to work ok when tested.
the boot will only release when the micro switch for the glass is in the open position.

as soon assohe glass is in the closed position it all stops working.

ive tested the switch and that is working just fine.

its almost like its opperating the wrong way round??
