New here introduction. My 2009 offroad Cayenne build
#16
Watching! I’m thinking of adding a roof rack, spare tire carrier, and some aggressive tires. Kind of a country club outlander, I would probably never do more than some dirt roads in the mountains carry some kayaks, etc. Just have to convince the wife!

Wow, these guys have solved the lift/binding riddle with affordable kits! https://shop.eurowise.com/product-p/ewof50mmar.htm
I am hoping the OP had some opinions to share.

drowssap.......You are comparing a Eurowise 2" lift verse a PRG 5" lift. There's a bit more in what needs to be done on a 5" lift.
PRG makes the same 2" lift as Eurowise. https://www.prgproducts.com/product-...ftfor-air-ride

And that is exactly the feedback I was looking for! I did not know that this kit was available from PRG. After reviewing all products on both sites, I feel that there are multiple options for the Cayenne platform. Eurowise and PRG offer the minimal kit but they differ in price and options as you pursue a more aggressive set up. Thank you for sharing the link.

What size tires are you running? Do you happen to know what size tires they are running on the other Cayenne's? I just purchased my 05 CT and have ordered my wheels, but am undecided on tire size. Was thinking 285/65R18.

May as well make this my first post as a long time lurker but noob member! I originally thought this would be viewed as hijacking the thread but you broke the ice for me to follow! Can we start discussing the differences between eurowise lift kit that has a handful of parts vs the kits from PRG that have many more parts? https://www.prgproducts.com/product-...5inch-lift-kit

I know Bryson runs 33x12.50, and from the looks of it you may be running larger if not the same?

I have ordered the 2.5" & Subframe kit from yall, Alpha Echo 18" w/ 25mm Offset from Forged Overland, and 285/65 Atturo's but now I am worried the tires may look too small both height and width. I know its only 0.4" difference height, but it is 1.3" less wide. Not many photos out there with specific info on what tires are being ran on the vehicles in the photos so it has made it difficult to make the right decision.

Hi! What wheels are you using on your Cayenne? Do you also use the bolt pattern adapter from eurowise? I've been looking for suitable off road wheels but there are no options for the 5x130 bolt pattern that the Cayenne/Touareg use. Can you shed some light? Thank you!

I am using the Alpha Echo 18" in Bronze.
No bolt pattern adaptor needed.
Check out all the options from both:

Questions on driveline angle here - with the subframe drop and larger lift, seems to me the driveline angle is increased - is that enough to make driveshaft too short?
At the beginning stages of pursuing some of these same ideas (Transsyberia tribute with a GTS) and prolly will never go as big or as high as you fellas have done, but wanted to get a better understanding.
Cheers,
Gundo

Looking for affordability
Hey friends. Looking at a 1st gen S build and I’m looking to make off road ready for the least amount possible. Looking at 2.5” lift from euro and maybe 33” tires? Any recommendations for wheels/ tires that don’t break the bank? Or other tips to save money with a build? Thanks
