Default Torque values for upper control arm

I am deep into the air shock replacement on the drivers side. I have the new shock and I just put the upper control arm on.

Is there someone out there who can tell me the torque values for the bolts that hold the upper control arm to the Air Shock? For that matter - what are the torque specifications for the Ball joint nut, sway bar nut and mounting bolts at the top?

Is there a resource for these values on the internet? I

Oh boy.....

The passenger side bolt that holds the upper control arm to the wheel hub just spins. It is not loose but the bolt and nut will just spin together when I try and loosen the bolt.

I know that can't be good. How would I loosen that? Obviously the bushing must be bad?

EDIT: I figured it out. It was strange the drivers side did not have the torx head in the bolt. But I am working again.

I could still use the torque settings if anyone has them.

Another quick question - what site is the bolt that connects the strut to the lower control arm? The threads got a little messy when it came out. I am going to need a tap to clean up the threads.

Should I just replace all the bolts? I have been reading I might need to? should I replace anything else? bushings? Upper control arm?

At least it is all out. Once I know what I need to do it should be easy to get it back together.

Does this have what You're looking for? Mind You, it's from a Touareg repair instructions, should be the same as a Cayenne though.

Its close - but I need the torque values for the strut and the bolts that connect it. There are 6 as far as I can tell -

1. Strut to lower control arm
2. Sway bar link (two since it has to be removed to get it off).
3. Three at the top of the strut in the engine bay. One of those screws is VILE and tucked away in the back of the engine bay behind the firewall.

I think I need to replace all six too? I was reading that some of the bolts in the suspension are designed to be single use.

Finally, since I have it this far down, should I replace anything else? It is a 2008 GTS - after 12 years something else may need attention?

I have reused them and they've been on for almost 35,000 miles. I used loctite blue on mine when I put them back on.

That is what I needed, Thanks!

If I can ask, where did you get this? I have looked for service manuals and what not all over the place.

From an Audi/VW service manual program. Lots of drivetrain and suspension stuff in a Cayenne is 100% Touareg. So are doors and locks etc. Porsche specific information is a lot harder to find.
