Question, I am getting used to my new to me 2004 S. I have noticed when cold the transmission shifts all the way to 1st at a stop, but for some reason, unless I downshift it, it seems to only shift down to 2nd when sitting at a light. Is this normal? I can tell 1st gear seems to be VERY low. Is this something it has learned from my driving? The only way I noticed was from the indicator. I dont actually have any drivability issues.

100% normal. When cold, starts out in 1st, once it's warmed up, 2nd gear start is normal.
